The piece begins as a single linear extrusion, its profile carved as an abstracted tree ring. The extrusion is then divided into deliberate parts and restacked, it’s subtle shifts creating a quiet dissonance. The once-continuous texture no longer aligns, yet still speak to a larger whole.
The result is a composition both stable and unsettled, a metaphor for balance - not as symmetry, but as negotiation.
