distillery district fir

salvaged from the Gooderham & Worts rackhouse in Toronto's distillery district and destined for Sabai Sabai resturant, these first growth douglas fir planks exude nothing but character

hundreds of years old, the raw timber has been distressed and marred over years of heavy service. now, it is being given new life

laminated into benches and table tops, the faces are planed flat and sanded smooth. on their edges, the aged outer layer of these pieces preserves a moment in Toronto's history
